INDIANAPOLIS – After spending a week in France, the Indiana Pacers are back home for a pair of games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Their two-game homestand tips off Wednesday with WWE Night against the Detroit Pistons. Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair and WWE Superstar Montez Ford are scheduled to make appearances.
The special night coincides with WWE Royal Rumble, which takes over Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.
During WWE night, fans will find special concourse activities, in-game entertainment and more. Fans can also get a WWE-themed Tyrese Haliburton bobblehead featuring the All-Star with a special Pacers championship belt.
Haliburton is a major wrestling fan who’s appeared at multiple WWE events. He made a memorable appearance at WWE SmackDown at Madison Square Garden in June 2024, a month after the Pacers beat the New York Knicks in the playoffs. Knicks star Jalen Brunson was also there, with the two renewing their basketball rivalry with a staredown.
The Pacers (25-20) are expected to sport their City Edition uniforms during Wednesday’s game, which starts at 7 p.m. The Pacers are 2-1 against the Pistons (23-23) this season and would take the season series with a win.
Indiana’s next home game is Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks. The game tips at 5 p.m. It’s the same night as the Royal Rumble.
After the two-game homestand, the Pacers will find themselves switching up time zones for a four-game road swing in which they’ll play the Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, L.A. Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers.
