The Indiana Pacers are converting both of their Two-Way players, Terry Taylor and Duane Washington Jr. to standard contracts. Indiana has an open roster spot with Justin Anderson’s 10-day contract coming to an end, and the Pacers will reportedly waive Keifer Sykes to create the second roster spot.
Taylor has been one of the NBA’s more unique players this year. As a 6’5” wing, Taylor has shot 62.9% from the field this season. He’s averaged 9.6 points and 5.2 rebounds over 31 games with the Pacers, while rarely taking a shot outside of the paint.
Washington has also been a find for Indiana. With several players out due to injuries, Washington has become a key backup guard. He’s averaged 9.6 points and hit 36.6% of his three-pointers in 46 games for the Pacers this season.
