INDIANAPOLIS – This year’s NBA City Edition uniforms have been revealed—and it’s a familiar look for the Indiana Pacers.
The 2024-2025 version of the City Edition jerseys are white instead of black. Other than that, they’re very similar, with the same graffiti-style “Indy” splashed across the front. There are some variations in the trim, but the overall design philosophy is virtually identical.
It’s pretty much like the Pacers flipped the switch on last year’s design.
The Pacers revealed the new uniforms on Thursday morning. The team will wear them for the first time on Sunday against the Miami Heat.
The Pacers debuted a black version of the uniform last season. At the time, the team said the design celebrated the city’s history of sports, music and art.
Here are the notable features described last year:
- The “INDY” wordmark was created specifically for this uniform by the team’s internal talent, a member of the Indiana Pacers design team. It can’t be found anywhere outside of the team.
- Using brighter versions of the team’s iconic Blue & Gold reflects the Indy art scene and the youth and talent of our players.
- Indy’s incredible murals throughout the city inspired the spray paint splatter and paid homage to the artists whose work adds different perspectives to the city’s landscape.
According to the team’s uniform schedule (which, yes, is a real thing), the Pacers will wear the City Edition uniform in 20 games this season.
During home games, they’ll play on a special court on City Edition nights. It’s the same court from last year, with the Pacers logo rendered in graffiti and splashes of paint at different spots on the sides.
If you’re interested in rocking the City Edition life, merch is already available at the Pacers Team Store.
