Nathan already crushed it going month-by-month to cover the ins and outs of the homestands, road trips, back-to-backs, TV schedule, and more, so be sure to read that objective breakdown before listening to this very subjective ranking of the five most intriguing games to watch in 2022-23.
For some, “intriguing” might mean star gazing (i.e. Steph Curry and the reigning NBA Champions will be in town on December 14). For others, it might be about long-awaited homecomings (i.e. Deandre Ayton visiting for the first time since his illustrious two minutes as a Pacer on December 10 — seven days after Tyrese Haliburton faces his former team yet again. This time, perhaps, including two-time All-Star Domantas Sabonis) or possible revenge games (i.e. Will Victor Oladipo finally play at the Fieldhouse for the first time since being trade?). For still others, though, the exercise might include midseason games against small market teams that project to present telling schematic challenges.
Where do Mark and Caitlin land?
