The Pacers at Nets, Part Deux!
The Indiana Pacers (3-4) wrap up their first roadie of the season on Monday night when they face the Brooklyn Nets (1-5) in the second-half of a pair of games at the Barclays Center.
The Pacers took the first game on Saturday night, 125-116 thanks to a stellar offensive outburst by rookie Bennedict Mathurin and point guard Tyrese Haliburton. The duo teamed up for 58 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. While they didn’t outscore the Nets’ combo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving (61 points), the Pacers had more help as the team made 23 of 46 three-pointers.
Ben Simmons has shshowed own up on the Nets injury report Monday afternoon as questionable with knee soreness and prior to the game was ruled out. Regardless, the Nets are desperate to double their current win total and send the Pacers home with a loss.
