The Phoenix Suns have recently been mentioned by “a handful of personnel around the league” as a team with interest in acquiring Domantas Sabonis.
The Suns have the best record in the NBA and a major move this week involving Sabonis is unlikely considering how it would potentially disrupt their chemistry.
The Suns and Pacers, however, could revisit the concept in the offseason as a potential sign-and-trade involving Deandre Ayton. The Suns were unable to agree to terms on an extension with Ayton in the offseason.
Sabonis is signed through 23-24 on a salary short of $20 million per year.
