Pool report from crew chief Tony Brothers — on why Andrew Nembhard received a second technical: “Vulgar language twice. He was given the opportunity to just walk away, and he used vulgar language towards an official twice.” – 10:28 PM

Huge block by Myles Turner to change the game. His 5th of the game.
Key players to finish this one: Mathurin and Turner, two guys Watford engaged with before being ejected.
After two FTs from TJM, Pacers have their largest lead (4) with 18.2 left. – 9:44 PM

Tony Brothers kept engaging with Andrew Nembhard — and draws a technical foul from Nembhard.
Because of the tangle with Watford, it’s his second
So Pacers will have to play OT without Nembhard. (And Haliburton is already out) – 9:31 PM

Trendon Watford just got into it with Andrew Nembhard and Myles Turner. Jordi Fernandez ran over to break it up and got shoved into the second row.

Trendon Watford received a two technical foul ejection.
Nembhard and Turner given one technical foul. So they offset.
Game continues with 4:48 left, Nets up by five. – 9:13 PM

Myles Turner is having quite the block party in this half. Much needed, sparking some energy at the offensive end. Great inbounds steal, too, from Sheppard.
Nets have been in front, but now just by 3. – 7:53 PM

Trendon Watford’s ability to post-up mismatches has been a weapon for the Nets this season.

Pacers staying small to close, keeping Myles Turner on the bench. Toppin is in.
Mavs, who only have eight players available, are up two with 2:51 to go. – 9:17 PM

More on this storyline
The Indiana Pacers secured a dramatic 105-99 overtime victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, but the game was marred by a massive brawl involving players from both teams, including Nets forward Trendon Watford and Pacers’ Andrew Nembhard and Myles Turner. In the middle of the fourth quarter, Watford, while running past, collided with Nembhard, and the situation quickly escalated into a full-blown altercation between the teams. -via BasketNews / March 21, 2025

Erik Slater: Final: Pacers 105, Nets 99 Brooklyn blows another late-game lead with the help of a pivotal three-point foul in the final seconds. Benedict Mathurin and Myles Turner spoil Ziaire Williams’ career night. -via Twitter @erikslater_ / March 20, 2025
Which Nets are you watching who could potentially be a part of the core looking ahead? Dorian Finney-Smith: I still talk to pretty much everybody on that team. CT (Cam Thomas), of course, with his talent. Hopefully, he gets paid. I want him to get paid this summer. It’s well deserved. I want Day’Ron (Sharpe) to make his money as well. Trendon Watford is a guy I want to find his footing in the league and get a longer contract of two or three years. -via HoopsHype / March 14, 2025
