The latest game in the long-running “NBA 2K” series is out soon—and four Indiana Pacers players are among the game’s top 100 rated players.
All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton leads the team with a 90 overall rating, while forward Pascal Siakam is right behind him at 88 for the upcoming “NBA 2K25.”
Two other Pacers rated among the top 100: center/forward Myles Turner (84) and guard Andrew Nembhard (81).
The top three Pacers aren’t necessarily surprising; Haliburton and Siakam have both been All-Stars, and Myles Turner has led the NBA in blocks twice.
Clearly, Nembhard’s strong postseason (and offseason contract extension) turned some heads. The game gave him a five-point bump compared to his launch rating of 76 from last year’s installment.
The top five rated players are Denver’s Nikola Jokic, Dallas’ Luka Doncic and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo (all 97 overall) plus Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid (both 96 overall).
The cover athlete for “NBA 2K25” is Boston’s Jayson Tatum (95 overall), but it’s not that simple—he’s on the Standard Edition. The game has a WNBA Edition with Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson on the cover, an All-Star Edition featuring both Tatum and Wilson and a Hall of Fame Edition with former NBA star Vince Carter.
“NBA 2K25” is available on Sept. 6 for PlayStation (PS4 and PS5) and Xbox (Series X|S, One) platforms, PC (via Steam) and the Nintendo Switch.
