The final college basketball Coaches’ Poll top 25 was released on Monday afternoon.
A college basketball champion won’t be crowned this year due to the cancellation of March Madness. But ranked teams should still take pride in what turned out to be a tremendous regular season in 2019-20.
To no surprise, Kansas checks in at No. 1 in the final Coaches’ Poll. The Jayhawks were the overwhelming title favorites heading into the NCAA Tournament prior to its cancellation. The second-most picked national champion favorite, Gonzaga, finished second in the poll.

It’s too bad fans weren’t treated to March Madness this year in particular. There’s never been a crazier season of college basketball considering all of the massive upsets. Many expected the 2020 NCAA Tournament to feature similar upsets.
Teams like Dayton (No. 3) and San Diego State (No. 6) both had historic years while college basketball blue-bloods Kentucky and Duke finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
