On Monday afternoon, the college basketball community received an unfortunate update on Butler’s live mascot.
It turns out Butler Blue IV suffered an injury. The school announced this news on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
“I have a CCL tear (aka doggo ACL) and will be sidelined for a few weeks,” the account for Butler Blue said.
Unsurprisingly, basketball fans around the world are wishing Butler Blue a speedy recovery.
