The Hoosiers get a major boost to their 2025 defense with the return of the defensive end.
An excellent few days for Indiana football continued on Christmas when star All-American defensive end Mikail Kamara announced he would be returning to the program for the 2025 season:

Kamara’s future was slightly up in the air following the end of the season. He has additional eligibility remaining but the pull of a potential future in the NFL had to have been compelling. Ultimately, Kamara decided to stay put in Bloomington for another year.
Indiana has emphasized the defensive line in its program building effort under Curt Cignetti. Kamara was a massive part of that effort in year one, compiling 19 solo tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles from the line.
That sheer production made him one of the top edge rushers in the Big Ten this past season. It was enough to earn All-Big Ten First Team honors from both the coaches and the media following the regular season.
