Rakease Passmore, a top-50 player in the class of 2024 out of Combine Academy (NC.) and Team Thad Nation, showed out at Peach Jam averaging 17.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
The 6-foot-5 wing holds offers from LSU, Indiana, Oregon, Wake Forest, Creighton, and Miami, among others.
He also picked up an offer from Arkansas at the conclusion of Peach Jam
“Who’s recruiting me the hardest is probably Indiana, Wake Forest, Miami, Creighton, and Arkansas just hopped on too,” Passmore said in a phone interview.
He has taken official visits to Oregon and Indiana thus far, and broke down each school to ZAGSBLOG:
Oregon: “Oregon’s campus is crazy,” Passmore said. “They want me to come in there and be a dog… They got players like Dillon Brooks and all that.”
Indiana: “I like Indiana too,” he said. “The coaches is cool, the area is crazy, it’s all just crazy out there.”
Passmore won’t take any more visits this summer but will see more schools during his senior year.
“Probably when school starts,” he said. “I’ll probably take two more, LSU and stuff like that.”
He also took an unofficial to Duke back in January, but has not received an offer yet.
“It’s been cool,” Passmore said. “It’s been smooth, we don’t talk as much like that but it’s been smooth.”
