Indiana men’s basketball has landed its first commitment out of the transfer portal this offseason: former DePaul and Drake guard Conor Enright

Enright, who played for Darian DeVries when the latter was at Drake, was among the first named linked to the program this offseason. He averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 30.1 minutes per game this past season with the Blue Demons.
His 3-point shooting numbers, 32.5% this past season, may not jump off the stat sheet, but he’s much better in spot-up situations than he is creating off the dribble. He hit 43.9% from long range during his second season at Drake under DeVries, so there’s a decent chance his numbers could climb in that area.
Simply put, Enright is the kind of player every good roster needs. He knows how to get the ball where it needs to go, is a reliable defensive presence and can shoot in off-ball situations. This is a win for the Hoosiers.
