He is the No. 1-ranked power forward in the Class of 2024 per 247Sports.com, and is one of five members of No. 1-ranked Montverde (FL) Academy to commit to high-major programs.
The news comes one day after it was reported Indiana coach Mike Woodson will return next season.
“We’re very excited for Liam,” Montverde coach Kevin Boyle, the National Coach of the Year, told ZAGSBLOG in October. “I think he made an excellent decision. He is one of the nation’s premier shooters and an excellent rebounder for his position.
“He will be a great addition to Indiana and has an excellent chance to play in the NBA.”
McNeeley and his Montverde teammates will compete in the Chipotle Nationals in Indiana April 4-6.
