The former Hoosier big man isn’t in this year’s NBA Rising Stars player pool.
Indiana men’s basketball program alumni got some good news this week when Trayce Jackson-Davis was named to the 2025 NBA Rising Stars player pool, which came with a sour side as Kel’el Ware missed the cut.
The timing wasn’t ideal for Ware, who has been impressive recently since earning a starting nod with the Miami Heat.
Ware, a rookie, will have another year to earn a spot in the pool as a sophomore. Should he maintain this momentum, that shouldn’t be a problem for him.
