The incoming transfer helps earn Team USA’s first gold medal of the 2024 Olympics
Incoming Indiana swimming and diving transfer Matt King helped take home 2024 Paris Olympics gold on Saturday with a Team USA win in the men’s 4×100 freestyle relay.
King originally committed to the Hoosiers out of high school before changing course and heading to Alabama. He’s competed for the Crimson Tide and Virginia Cavaliers before announcing his transfer this offseason.
He swam the 4×100 in the prelims, qualifying for the finals after Team USA took third, before handing things off to the final quartet.
