Ten More Years
Before the existing contract was set to expire, Indiana and adidas have agreed to a ten-year extension of the current apparel contract, per the Indianapolis Star. This is the first new contract since Indiana signed an eight-year, $53.6 million extension in 2016.
While some fans may have been hoping for a break with adidas, this extension became more and more likely as the year went on. adidas continued to treat the Hoosiers as one of its top brands, selecting them as one of two schools nationally to wear the limited Fear of God uniforms that debuted this year.
This special treatment extended through the postseason, with Teri Moren’s squad getting surprise care packages from the brand in preparation for their March Madness run.
A surprise.

The details of the new deal have not been reported yet, but I think it’s safe to assume based on the existing relationship that this will be a lucrative extension for Indiana. More NIL deals for individual players would not be surprising either.
