Howard has been with the program as a graduate manager.
Indiana men’s basketball named former graduate manager Adam Howard as the program’s Assistant Director of Recruiting and Operations on Wednesday via an official press release.
Howard spent two years on staff as a graduate manager and four as a student manager, being named head student manager as a senior. He is the son of Todd Howard, a longtime Indiana high school basketball coach who has had stops at IUPUI (now IU Indianapolis) and currently works as associate head coach at Marian University in Indianapolis.
“Adam comes from a great basketball pedigree,” head coach Mike Woodson said. “His father, Todd, is a legendary coach in this state. Adam has been a great asset for us in recruiting and we are excited to keep him on our staff as we continue to push this program further.”
Howard is President of Men’s Basketball Operations for Grow the Game, a college basketball manager-led organization connecting managers with coachers, staff members and other relevant figures across the sport. He is highly regarded in the coaching and recruiting realms.
