Indiana will kick off year four under Mike Woodson with a home tilt versus Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on November 6 before welcoming Eastern Illinois on November 10.
The Hoosiers get their first major test when South Carolina visits Assembly Hall on November 16. The Gamecocks made the NCAA Tournament a season ago and should give Indiana a real game before the noncon highlight Battle 4 Atlantis.
The 13th annual B4A will run from November 27-29 in Nassau, Bahamas. The event’s bracket has yet to be released but boasts a strong field of Arizona, Davidson, Gonzaga, Louisville, Oklahoma, Providence, and West Virginia in addition to the Hoosiers.
The Cream and Crimson’s Thanksgiving in Paradise will be its only away trip of the noncon. IU will not play a neutral site game in Indianapolis for the first time since 2010-11.
Additional home games versus UNC-Greensboro, Sam Houston State, Miami-Ohio, UT-Chattanooga, and Winthrop round out the out-of-conference slate before Indiana immerses itself in Big Ten play.
Although less exciting than recent noncon schedules, this slate will give a new-look Indiana roster ample opportunity to gel before facing league competition.
