The Hoosiers add frontcourt depth to the transfer class.
Indiana men’s basketball added onto its transfer class on Wednesday with the addition of former Bellarmine center Langdon Hatton.

Hatton spent the previous two seasons with Bellarmine after playing a single year at William & Mary. He’s originally from Georgetown, Indiana and starred at North Harrison High School.
He provides immediate frontcourt depth for the Hoosiers, able to come off the bench at the center spot for Oumar Ballo or potentially at the four for Malik Reneau. With Ballo, Reneau, Mackenzie Mgbako and now hatton, Indiana has some reliable frontcourt depth.
But Hatton isn’t just a post guy, the 3-ball is part of his game he shot well in catch and shoot situations at Bellarmine. Indiana’s going to have better shooting options next year, expect Hatton to factor into that mix some.
With Hatton’s addition, Indiana has just one scholarship spot remaining. The staff has shown a willingness to leave that spot open, and doing so with this roster makes more sense than it did last year.
