Tracking candidate profiles for the Indiana men’s basketball head coach job opening.
The Indiana men’s basketball head coaching job will change hands upon the conclusion of the 2024-25 season with the departure of Mike Woodson.
Four years after hiring Woodson and eight after brining in Archie Miller, Indiana is once again searching for a long-term answer for the most prominent job on campus. This is a hire that the program has to get right this time lest risk further fan apathy after a disappointing past decade or so.
Indiana is still a good job in the college basketball world. The program exists on fertile recruiting ground, has greater tradition and history than over 99% of the sport and has access to championship-level resources with facilities, funding and access to NIL.
We’re keeping track of potential candidates for the job and profiling them here, going through their character, coaching philosophies and potential fit with the job as a whole, which calls for more than most other jobs like it.
