Reibe, who is originally from Germany, plays for The Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland. A talented 7-footer, he’d be the latest in a line of skilled fives to play for Mike Woodson in Bloomington, should he commit.
The Hoosiers have sent previous starters Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kel’el Ware off to the NBA, adding Oumar Ballo and Langdon Hatton this past offseason. With Ballo and Hatton running out of eligibility after this season, Reibe would have a clear path to immediate playing time in Bloomington.
Reibe officially visited the program on September 20 alongside 5-star shooting guard Braylon Mullins and now-Indiana commit and 4-star forward Trent Sisley.
Indiana has been looking to fill the center spot through the high school ranks for two cycles now. Reibe is the latest attempt at doing so.
