Mullins’ meteoric rise has continued from the spring into the fall.
Braylon Mullins, a rising senior at Greenfield-Central High School in Greenfield, Indiana and a major Indiana men’s basketball recruiting target has been bumped up to 5-star status at 247Sports as of Wednesday.
Mullins’ recruiting stock has absolutely skyrocketed since the spring with multiple new programs becoming involved with him. Indiana was on his recruitment early, extending an official offer last September.
He’s been an electric scorer at the Indiana high school level and maintained that level of play extended into the AAU circuit. He’s been able to get to the rim for a while but his 3-point shooting has set him apart. He’s viewed as one of if not the top shooter in the class of 2024.
If you at all pay attention to Indiana high school basketball you’d have known about him for a while now. With the state being pretty visible on the high school level, it’s kind of surprising that it took this long for the recruitment to become national.
His abilities as a scorer give him NBA-level upside and he’s set to visit Indiana this month. If the Hoosiers can secure his commitment it wouldn’t be hyperbole to call it the biggest off-court win of Mike Woodson’s tenure in Bloomington thus far.
