The Hoosiers will travel to South Bend to take on the Fighting Irish.
Indiana football has earned the No. 10-seed in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff and will travel to South Bend to take on No. 7-seed Notre Dame.
The teams will face off on Friday, Dec. 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC/ESPN.
The Hoosiers went 11-1 during the 2024 season with a loss to No. 8-seed Ohio State on the road. The Fighting Irish also went 11-1, with a loss at home to Northern Illinois, which finished in 7th place in the MAC.
Notre Dame made up enough ground through the rest of its schedule to secure not only a berth in the playoff, but a hosting seed to boot.
Indiana making the expanded College Football Playoff in year one under Curt Cignetti is a huge milestone for the program and serves as a building block to the future. Cignetti already has his proof of concept, the playoff is possible in Bloomington.
