Indiana women’s basketball has been active in the transfer portal market, hosting Arkansas guard Phoenix Stotijn for an official visit recently according to a post on Stotijn’s Twitter:

Stotijn just completed her redshirt freshman season with the Razorbacks having averaged 7.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 25.7 minutes per game. She’s originally from The Netherlands, where she’s a member of the country’s national team.
With the U18 national team, Stotijn averaged 15 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 31.9% from deep at the 2023 European Championships and scored 27 points in a win over the United Kingdom.
Indiana is going to have plenty of minutes to go around this offseason given the program’s ongoing attrition through the transfer portal. A player like Stotijn could have a higher ceiling with time.
The Hoosiers have their work cut out for them, but are doing the work early.
