LaMendola averaged 2.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 10.9 minutes per game off the bench while shooting 35.1% from deep for the Hoosiers this past season.
She was in her second season in Bloomington after having committed to the program out of Coppell, Texas. It was easy to see something of a role for her as a 3 and D wing coming off the bench, and she had a knack for drawing charges on the defensive end of the floor, but she wasn’t consistent enough at either to make things a reality.
LaMendola played behind the likes of Yarden Garzon and Sydney Parrish for much of her career. She looked excellent shooting the ball during the program’s offseason trip to Greece as a freshman, but that never quite came to fruition down the line.
