The Hoosiers’ added onto their future with a guard out of Louisville on Monday.
Indiana women’s basketball already had two players committed in the class of 2025, and now they’ve added a prospect in the next cycle.
Ashlinn James, a 2026 guard out of Assumption High School in Louisville, Kentucky, announced her commitment to the Hoosiers on Monday afternoon via Instagram.

James was among the prospects invited to Hoosier Hysteria in 2023 and received an official scholarship offer during that visit. She took an unofficial visit to Bloomington in August of this year.
It’s not the first time Teri Moren and the staff have found success in the Louisville area. Former Hoosier great and current member of the WNBA’s Indiana Fever, Grace Berger, starred at Sacred Heart Academy prior to joining the program.
Indiana got in early on this recruitment which looks to have paid off rather well now. Other programs involved with James included Marquette and Miami per On3.
