New Indiana men’s basketball head coach Darian DeVries was spotted at the IHSAA Class boys basketball state finals on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was spotted courtside prior to the Class 3A game between South Bend St. Joseph and Crispus Attucks. Indianapolis Star high school sports ace Kyle Neddenriep captured DeVries speaking with former Hoosier and current Ball State head coach Mike Lewis:

Among the players on Crispus Attucks is former Iowa commit Dezmon Briscoe, a 3-star center in the class of 2025 who decommitted from the Hawkeyes after the program parted ways with former head coach Fran McCaffery.
The Class 4A matchup, an absolute barn burner of a 67-66 overtime win for Jeffersonville High School over Fishers High School, featured Jason Gardner Jr, a 4-star point guard in the class of 2027, suiting up for Fishers.
Jeffersonville is coached by former Hoosier Sherron Wilkerson, who has now won a state title as a player and a coach with Jeffersonville.
