Curt Cignetti began the spring portal season with a commitment from Stephen Daley, a three-star edge prospect from Kent State.

Daley has one year of eligibility remaining after spending three seasons with the Golden Flashes. He recorded career-highs last year in tackles (51), passes defended (3), sacks (4), and forced fumbles (1).
PFF graded Daley as one of the best edge rushers in the MAC last year, with an 81 overall grade feuled by strong grades in both pass and run coverage. He also has one interception in his career.
Indiana had space on the defensive line before Mikhail Kamara announced his move to the Stud position, with more minutes suddenly available for edge rushers. Look for Daley to make an instant impact there.
