Darian DeVries lands another transfer guard.
Indiana men’s basketball landed a commitment from North Florida transfer guard Jasai Miles on Wednesday night, per Joe Tipton of On3:

Darian DeVries is building out his backcourt even further with the addition of Miles, who averaged 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 31.6 minutes per game this past season for the Ospreys, having shot 33.5% from long range. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Miles has good size for the position at 6-6 and spent most of his time at the wing for the Ospreys, but has the skillset to slide over to the two. That’s the kind of versatility Indiana could use in assembling an entirely new roster.
That rebounding number tells a story too. Shooting guard or wing, 6.8 boards per game just screams “motor.”
He also has room to grow. His passing is pretty alright overall and stands to improve if he gets to doing so more. There’s also room to improve as a shooter from deep.
With Miles having some more eligibility remaining, this could be a multiyear addition for the program. DeVries’ portal strategy is taking shape.
