Ohio quarterback Kurtis Rourke is hanging around the Midwest for his final year of eligibility.
Rourke announced Thursday afternoon that he has committed to Indiana for the 2024 season. The 6-foot-5, 216-pound passer had previously entered the NCAA transfer portal on Dec. 5.

This past season, Rourke completed 63.5% of his passes for 2,207 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions. In 2022, he was named MAC Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 3,257 yards, 25 touchdowns and four interceptions.
In five seasons with the Bobcats, Rourke connected on 66.3% of his attempts for 7,651 yards, 50 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He also rushed for 828 yards and 11 scores.
Ohio finished 9-3 this season, earning a trip to the Myrtle Beach Bowl against Georgia Southern. Last year, the Bobcats finished 10-4, including a win over Wyoming in the Arizona Bowl.
Indiana is coming off a 3-9 campaign.
