The Hoosiers are hosting another shooter.
Indiana men’s basketball will host Illinois transfer wing Luke Goode for a visit in Bloomington this week, per Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star.
Joining the chorus at this point, but Luke Goode plans to visit Indiana this week. Goode, a Fort Wayne native, announced his decision to transfer from Illinois, where he shot 38.8% on 3s across three seasons in Champaign. #iubb

Goode is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has multiple family ties to the Hoosiers including multiple relatives who have played sports or gone to school in Bloomington. For instance his father, Craig Goode, played football at Indiana and his uncle is Trent Greene, among the best quarterbacks in program history.
It was reported that he entered the portal on Monday. He was not offered by Indiana, then led by under Archie Miller, out of high school.
The draw for Goode is the fact that he shot 38.9% from deep last year and 42.1% the year before that. He’d fill an immediate need with a path to minutes thanks to that ability to space the floor, but would likely do so while coming off the bench.
Goode played three years at Illinois and is seeking to spend his fourth and final year of eligibility elsewhere.
