Kelvin Sampson and Houston are once again in the Sweet Sixteen, having reached the second weekend as the 1-seed in the Midwest Region. Joining him at Lucas Oil Stadium is something of a rogues gallery for Indiana.
He’ll face off against 4-seed Purdue, the Hoosiers’ in-state rival, on Friday night. Should the Cougars win that game he’ll have a shot at the winner between 3-seed Kentucky, an Ohio River border rival of Indiana from days of yore, and 2-seed Tennessee.
