Most Wildly Inaccurate

Everyone was honestly pretty solid last week, this one just stood out a little bit as Notre Dame had a very balanced early game plan and controlled it from the start.

And now onto the take for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Georgia Bulldogs

Cold Take

I think Georgia has the edge early in this game because of a unique game plan that will be very difficult for ND to plan for. This is obviously a result of the quarterback change and the lack of film surrounding a game plan with Gunner Stockton as QB1. However, Golden will settle in after the first drive. He always seems to take a drive or two to see where he wants to strike, and this game will be no different. I also can see some early run stuffs and an errant throw from Leonard as he shakes off some nerves. Like the defense, the offense will settle in, but I don’t expect them to come out white hot.

There have been so many times in games like this that Notre Dame has had a chance to win the game and make, “the play” but simply have fallen short. I think of dropped picks/tipped screen vs. OSU, Sacks against Georgia, Bad PI call against FSU, and the list goes on. However, with the game on the line, Riley Leonard will deliver the knockout punch. Whether it be a critical third/fourth down run or beating a late all out blitz with a clutch throw, Leonard will pull through. He has given everything he has the ND this season, and gets the monkey off their back and FINALLY win a major bowl game against a major opponent with all eyes on them. GO IRISH.
