Will King Play? Will it Matter?
How’d We Do Last Week?
As a refresher, I feature the most interesting, most wildly inaccurate, and most accurate takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from the previous week. Let’s get started!
Most Interesting
For anyone who doesn’t check out cfarris’s hot sauces each week, you should. One of these days I will make them.
Most Wildly Inaccurate
He got one….then it got taken away…..then he got taken away from us. I blame myself. Leonard Moore, hear our prayer….
Most Accurate
Honestly, all of these were pretty solid, big kudos.
And now onto the takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Cold Take
Kris Mitchell leads the team in receptions
Last week I predicted a long Kris Mitchell touchdown, but sadly his touchdown was at the goal line. With Riley Leonard starting to hit his stride, Mitchell too continues his upward trajectory. He has been running good routes and the coaches clearly want to feed him the ball. He breaks out in this one and leads the team in receptions as the pass game continues to progress.
Hot Take
Notre Dame forces 4 turnovers
The defense will be without All American Benjamin Morrison, but the Irish defense doesn’t miss a beat. Georgia Tech starting QB Haynes King is questionable for the game, and even if he plays, will not be at full strength. I expect the Irish to bring the heat for whoever is back there and look for Bryce Young, Rylie Mills, Howard Cross, and Joshua Burnham to take the game over. They will be stout up front and force errant throws and at least 1 strip sack.
Your Takes: Please leave your takes below (hot, cold medium-any temp). I will feature the Top Takes next week. GO IRISH!
