Morrison was a very highly rated recruit coming out of high school, but for whatever reason, it always felt like he was forgotten about as he entered his freshman year. That, of course, wouldn’t be the case for long. Morrison made a huge splash as a freshman with 6 interceptions — one of which was returned for touchdown against the Clemson Tigers. Benjamin was named a Freshmen All-American after the 2022 season.
He only got better, and despite having just 3 interceptions his sophomore season, Morrison defended 10 passes and was considered one of the best lockdown corners in the country as he had the ability to shutdown any receiver across from him.
It was very unfortunate this year as Morrison suffered a season-ending injury halfway through the season — as ND could have really used the help against Ohio State.
Morrison is an incredible talent, and he has been an incredible student-athlete at Notre Dame with love and respect from everyone that has been around him. He is expected to be a 1st Round pick in this spring’s NFL Draft.
Thanks Benny Moe!
