The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team have had a lot of different uniforms through the years. In 2024, they’ve made some changes to their home look.
Appearing on Friday’s edition of ESPN’s First Take, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman and freshman safety Jordan Clark, the son of ESPN’s Ryan Clark, revealed a new uniform that the Fighting Irish will be wearing during the 2024 season.
The team’s classic dark blue home jerseys will have a unique, fresh feature: a big, gold Notre Dame logo on the sleeves.
The usual Notre Dame home logo has the logo with a simple gold outline but white on the inside. This is a pretty dynamic change.
Shortly afterwards, the school took to X and revealed the new home jerseys in all of their gold-covered glory.
“Notre Dame is different ☘️ As seen on @FirstTake our 2024 home jerseys are officially official #GoIrish☘️,” Notre Dame Football posted.

“2024 is the year Notre Dame has a special CFP run,” one user replied to the post.
“Love the Gold on the sleeves #NDFootball,” wrote another.
“We really have the sexiest uniforms that have ever existed,” a third declared.
Notre Dame went 10-3 in 2023 under Marcus Freeman. Will they be even better in their new uniforms this year?
The Irish will open up the 2024 season at Texas A&M on Aug. 31.
