Notre Dame used a famous WWE star to unveil its green jersey game for the 2024 season.
Sheamus helped reveal to Notre Dame fans that the team will wear the famous green jerseys against Louisville on September 28.
Notre Dame posted a video of head coach Marcus Freeman calling Sheamus and inviting him to the game. Sheamus excitedly said yes before asking what the dress code would be.
That’s when Freeman confirmed that the game is the “Irish wear green” game and that got Sheamus fired up.
Couldn’t talk about the Irish wearing green without our guy @WWESheamus ☘️
