I mean — it might
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel a few hours south this weekend to take on the Purdue Boilermakers in a battle for the Shillelagh Trophy. The Irish are looking to bounce back in a big way after one of the most humiliating defeats from the past thirty years — and with a ton of head coach and quarterback baggage.
As we look to the weather forecast this weekend, the outlook is very much one of a late summer day in Indiana. The heat is back, but without a ton of the humidity that existed just a few weeks ago. As September tailgating goes, the temps will slowly rise in the morning, but there could be a bit of rain as you pound back a couple of PBR tall boys. Look for a high of around 82 during the game. There’s a chance of some rain in the morning, but the outlook for the game looks to be dry.
The Irish and Boilermakers play at 3:30 on CBS.
