Another running back NOT coming to Notre Dame
On Monday, Florida 3-Star running back Justin Thurman announced that he flipped his commitment from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to the Kansas Jayhawks.

Thurman was one of the first commitments of Notre Dame’s 2025 recruiting class, and now just a few weeks away from the early period for National Signing Day, he’s headed elsewhere.
This decision, according to multiple outlets, was a mutual one. No theatrics and no bad blood — just a change.
The Irish are now down to 23 commitments in its 2025 class — a class ranked 13th in the nation according to the 247 Team Composite Rankings.
Thurman isn’t the only running back to decommit from the Irish recently. Daniel Anderson left the class last month in ANOTHER mutual parting of ways.
The numbers at the position next year are pretty high, so it makes sense.
