It’s different out west
On Saturday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will face off against the USC Trojans for the 95th time in this storied rivalry game. While the new mega conference structure is bound to help reset some rivalries around college football, the Irish and Southern Cal have been ahead of the curve for almost a century.
One of the “perks” for Notre Dame in this series has always been the good chance to end the season playing in the “good weather” of Los Angeles, California. Of course, that isn’t always the case as we’ve seen some rain games over the years — but the reason/point remains the same.
This year, if you like this sort of thing, the weather is quite good. The high temperature will hover around 80 degrees with light winds and a partly sunny sky.
