It’s November
After months and months of me complaining about Notre Dame scheduling a second service academy along with two MAC schools, this weekends matchup between the Irish and Army Black Knights is a top 20 showdown with massive College Football Playoff implications.
Who knew?
While the game is a celebration/tribute to the 1924 game under a blue-gray sky in October made famous by Grantland Rice — it’s being played under the lights in the middle of November. So what’s the weather going to be like?
It will be mostly windy throughout the day with 40 mph gusts and a high temperature of 49. As the Irish and Army get to game time, the temps will dip down into the low 40s and the wind will slow down a little bit too.
Basically… it’s a cold night game, but a cold night game that will be dry all day and night.
