The Notre Dame Fighting Irish finally did the thing that they have been unable to do for over thirty years… they won a big bowl game by taking down the Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl to advance to the semifinals of the college football playoff.

Next up for the Irish is the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Orange Bowl. Penn State got there by beating SMU in the first round, and then winning the Fiesta Bowl against the Boise State Broncos.

The Irish finally got that big bowl win… they might as well get another.

Notre Dame fans will be very familiar with the broadcast team as they have already called both of Notre Dame’s playoff games this year.
