A top 5 team coming into Ross-Ade? I’ll take it.
Purdue is coming off their best offensive game of the season. They scored 49 points against a ranked Illinois team that was giving up around 24 per game. Hudson Card will be relegated to the backup role (assuming he clears concussion protocol) and Ryan Browne will again get the start. Will that be enough to make a game of it against the 2nd ranked Oregon Ducks?
Oregon is coming off of their best game of the season when they took down Big Ten powerhouse Ohio State in Eugene. That win was monumental for them as they now move into the driver’s seat in the Big Ten race and sit at #2 in the nation behind only Texas who does appear to be back.
The Purdue defense continues to struggle and this week will be no easy task. This is a fast and athletic Oregon team that will give any defense fits. Can Purdue make any adjustments to slow them down? A top 5 team coming into Ross-Ade for a (Friday) night game? Purdue has been here before and come out victorious.
