Keelan puts the special in special teams, with his special leg!
Another punter from down under, but with a quick pit stop at Mississippi State.
Keelan Crimmins appeared in all 12 games for the Bulldogs during the 2023 season, averaging just north of 40 yards per punt, at 40.9.
He would go on to hit the transfer portal in the off-season. While Purdue looked to dip their recruiting hours into Australia again, even sending the special teams coordinator to the land down under, Crimmins was already in the United States looking for a new home.
During his prep career in Australia, Keelan was ranked as the 7th best punting prospect. Headed into his junior year, he should have the bulk of the punting duties on his plate.
If all goes well, Keelan won’t have to kick many balls this season, but it is great to have a solid punter waiting in the wings for when crap does, indeed, hit the fan.
