The Purdue Boilermakers released their availability report ahead of tonight’s matchup against the Michigan State Spartans. As has been common this year, a number of what were expected to be key contributors will be out with the defensive line taking a huge hit with Damarje Lewis, Cole Brevard, and Jamarrion Harkless all being ruled out. CJ Smith, a transfer receiver from Georgia, is again out after making a brief return against Penn State. He has missed most of the season with different injuries.
The Boilers will want to get Mo Omonode back if he is available as the former West Lafayette standout has become a quality player along the defensive line. Getting Bradford back will be good for the secondary as he has looked like a quality piece during his time this season.
The Boilers entered the day as a 13.5 point under dog and this list of injuries will make it incredibly difficult for the Boilers to pull off an upset on the road in East Lansing. Purdue has yet to prove they can string a half of good football together this season outside of the Illini game, let alone an entire game.
