HUGE losses if you’re a Purdue fan.
Over the last week or so Michigan State had to travel out west for two games in their first West Coast swing as part of the new Big Ten. They had not lost a Big Ten game up to that point. A perfect 9-0 in conference play. Well, not anymore. They lost both of their West coast games and now find themselves behind the Boilermakers and (as of last night’s Michigan victory over Oregon) tied with the Wolverines. So Ryan and I talked about who is the favorite in the conference going forward now that MSU has come back down to earth after their admittedly easy conference slate.
Then, Ryan and I talk about the offensive explosion that was the game against the Iowa Hawkeyes. So much praise is again doled out to Braden Smith but we also touch on the continued improvement and importance of Caleb Furst. Is foul trouble for TKR a real concern moving forward?
Finally, we look ahead to USC, who Purdue will face this Friday in Mackey Arena.
