Plus, we rant after another Purdue football loss.
This really wasn’t a good few days for Purdue sports, and that was before Notre Dame gave a beat down to the women’s team. Sure, the men’s basketball team took down Northern Kentucky, but at what cost? Daniel Jacobsen left the game after just over a minute with an apparent lower leg injury. Well, then last night we learned that Jacobsen had broken his leg and was likely going to miss the rest of the season. The freshman was in a starting role for the Boilermakers and the team will now have to scramble to figure out how to fix the 5 position. Ryan and I talk about who could benefit from this and if it will result in Purdue playing small more often.
Then, we do cover the victory over Northern Kentucky because that is still important. What have we learned from this, and is Fletcher Loyer the most improved player from last season?
Then, with all the basketball out of the way we go into the loss to Ohio State. It really has become an embarrassment as Purdue was shut out again. No points. Zero. Zilch. Second time this year. Just absolutely nothing is working on this Purdue team with the exception of the punting unit.
Ryan and I rant about Hudson Card, Ryan Walters, and Mike Bobinski. This then leads into the latest news to come out of the Paint Crew, read as an email Mike Bobinski forced them to send.
Give us a listen!
