Purdue heads to Michigan and comes home with a loss.
Going on the road in the Big Ten is never easy. As the Cliz once said, “So it goes on the road…in the burly Big Ten.” Burly it is as Purdue headed up to Ann Arbor to face a Michigan team that they’d beaten by 27 points earlier this season. Unfortunately, that only seemed to fuel the fire of the Wolverines as they stymied the Boilermakers for two long scoring droughts and did just enough to walk away with a 75-73 victory.
Ryan and I talk about foul trouble for Trey Kaufman-Renn and Caleb Furst, the official that was frustrating to say the least, the inability of the bench to score, and much much more. This was a game Purdue needed to win in order to take control of their destiny in the Big Ten race, especially with the Michigan State loss to IU later that night.
Next, Ryan and I look ahead to Saturday’s game against Wisconsin back in Mackey Arena. Give us a listen and share with all your Purdue friends.
