The Closing Ceremonies for the 2024 Olympics were the night of this recording so Ryan and I take a look back at some of our favorite moments. We celebrate Annie Drews bringing home another medal, and talk about our plans to bring more diving golds to Purdue and the USA. Then, I go on a rant about the Olympic gymnastics controversy. You can take that bronze medal from our cold dead hands!
Then we talk about one of the newest members of the Big Ten, Oregon. Great uniforms, also some pretty awful ones, and a ton of money. They finished last season with one of the best offenses in the country and despite losing a number of players it doesn’t seem like they are poised to slow down and that could mean trouble for Purdue. On the plus side, they will likely come into Ross-Ade Stadium with a top 5 ranking which has doomed any number of teams in the recent past. Could that be enough to get Purdue over the hump in this difficult matchup? That’s why they play the games folks!
